Delay in the process of selecting a new company to run the .org internet top-level domain may count against some of the smaller, less well-funded bidders, one of the bidding companies believes, Kevin Murphy writes. - Register.com sees profit shrink
Register.com, the second-largest supplier of Web addresses in the United States, on Monday posted a smaller second-quarter profit than expected, citing a drop in gross margin and renewal rates for domain names.
